Product Manager


We are looking for an experienced Product Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining new product lines to internal and external customers in an engaging, functional way. The Product Manager will work creatively and pragmatically to conserve resources and engage the product line’s potential audience. Knowledge of key product and project management skills are important in this role.

Accountabilities & Responsibility Areas

  • You work with business unit stakeholders to determine a product roadmap - including features and functionalities to meet that product roadmap.
  • You write specific product requirements for our developers and work with them to assure that the features are delivered as requested by the business units.
  • You help manage the communication between developers and the different business and regional departments.
  • You assure that design / layout, features, workflows and business processes deliver the expected business benefit.
  • You conduct periodical trainings and make sure that your product’s users are aware and in acceptance of new roll-outs.
  • The product manager / owner must have an extremely hands-on attitude – the product owner must be willing and able to "dive deep" into the inner works of the business and become a functional expert in it.

Knowledge/Skills & Experience

  • You have a 3-5 years of product management or project management experience developing web-based products.
  • You are diligent, detail-oriented and have the ability to prioritize and release the features / requests rapidly.
  • You have an understanding of the logistics and operations industry (i.e.: Fleet Management and/or Fleet Maintenance systems).
  • You know how to lead and define a Product roadmap and ensure thorough project management in order to meet your deliverables.
  • Understanding of the Agile approach to project planning and application development.
  • Passionate about building and managing web-based platforms.
  • Though this is not a programming role, the candidate should have a basic understanding of web technologies and programming languages (JavaScript, CSS, HTML, SQL/NoSQL).  Experience with AWS is a big plus.
  • Types of potential products would all be web and/or mobile application based, and could include:

             - Fleet maintenance / workshop operations
             - Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
             - Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
             - Internal process improvements


Formal Training/Education

  • A minimum of University Graduate Degree in any relevant discipline
