Key Responsibilities
Manage all warehouse operations, inventory, freight, and personnel
Drive operational efficiency, automation, and continuous improvement
Maximise warehouse capacity and shipping optimisation
Own customer experience, scheduling, and service delivery
Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and hazardous material requirements
Prepare and manage budgets, forecasting, and cost control
Identify new facilities and grow warehouse capacity
Drive business development and onboard new customers
Collaborate with Road Freight, Clearing & Forwarding, Trading, and Fleet teams
Health, Safety & Compliance
Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards
Promote a safe, compliant, and accident-free workplace
Requirements
University Degree (MBA / Accounting / Audit preferred)
Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse/logistics operations
Proven experience managing a business unit with full P&L ownership
Experience with bulk and break-bulk cargo / commodities
Strong financial, leadership, and analytical skills
Proficient in MS Office, SAP, and Warehouse Management Systems
Knowledge of import/export, transit clearance, and terminal documentation
International/African exposure advantageous
