Accountabilities & Responsibility Areas

● Report on performance for POD’s and Due Diligence
● Ensure alignment and effective communication between key internal and external stakeholders
● Aiming to improve and develop ways of working, processes, and usage of data and automation to make the role and the work more sustainable, easier to manage, and less resource intensive.
● Upload the PODs:
-    Ensure trip and truck numbers on documents correspond to those on Smartsheet.
-    Verify that the weight indicated on the loaded weighbridge slip matches the cargo ID weight on Smartsheet.
-    Confirm that driver names on documents match the records on Smartsheet.
-    Managing exceptional approvals and escalations on discrepancies between Weighbridge 1 and 2 to ensure 
-    Ensure the route has accurate document requirements that are consistently corrected and checked.
● Keep the transporters’ Due Diligence updated
● Assist in generating Loading Confirmation documentation for the subcontractor detailing all subcontracted transportation
● Follow up on delivered trucks and request transporters for Proof of Delivery documents.
Serving as a general assistant to the Subcontracting Planning and Admin department

Qualifications & Skills

● A minimum of University Graduate Degree in any relevant discipline or equivalent vocational experience in Transport / Logistics service support.
● Excel skills
● Clear communication skills to ensure clear and candid information
● Strong management skills ensuring efficient use of resources
● Computer Literacy to effectively operate and manipulate online management systems
● Faultless administration skills ensuring accurate and efficient procedures

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:20 AM – 4:20 PM, and Alternate Saturdays, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
