Primary Responsibilities:

To support Alistair operations such that objectives are met at the required work performance standard and in accordance with company behaviors and values. To review, define and monitor best operating procedures of the organization and train staff on the best business process. Implement multi branch improvement projects and to train staff how to effectively use the system. 

  • Project planning to encompass resources and manpower requirements for project realization alongside budgeting for the same.
  • Provide advice on management of projects as well as running thorough risk analysis for every project
  • Breaking down big projects into sub projects and assigning the latter to staff, also offer close supervision and monitoring for the same
  • Ensure on time delivery of projects within the parameters of the budget
  • Train staff on best practice on their relevant fields to allow maximum output.
  • Monitoring sub contractors ensuring objectives are met
  • Monitor progress of staff development on project realization and report to management.
  • Ensuring that processes and procedures are in place for every task carried out and are relevant to the task
  • Risk assessment of all tasks
  • Daily and weekly site walkarounds to assess all hazards and create reports for action.
  • Liaising with clients on site to address any problems or questions
  • Representing Alistair Group on site, Supervising activities
  • Prepare and send the timesheets for invoicing and log all related work on the dedicated log sheets to accounts
  • Receiving goods on site and ensuring POD and traceability is kept and filed. 

Monitor HSE compliance on site 

  • Attending formal Health & Safety Committee meetings as required by your workplace.
  • Reviewing all health and safety related matters within the Health & Safety Committee meetings.
  • Inform and advise fellow employees of health and safety issues raised in the meetings.
  • Monitoring and maintaining a safe working environment in your workplace area.
  • Assisting with accident and incident investigation and reporting
  • Send additional reports as required by specific staff
  • Ensure all waste is segregated and disposed of and that accurate records are maintained
  • Ensuring that all relevant figures are sent to the HSSEQ officer for inclusion in monthly reports
