ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Develop and manage detailed plans from a data-focused perspective for corridors (SA, Tanzania, Zambia, Mozambique) with key action points, risks, and opportunities.
- Review capacity on a bi-weekly basis, highlighting risks in the current uplift plan from DRC, managed by corridor.
- Conduct bi-weekly planning calls to review capacity, loading performance, and address concerns, ensuring clear communication between teams.
- Drive monthly capacity planning to inform cargo purchasing for trading, with regular reviews and actionable insights.
- Update daily forecasts for warehouse offloading, tracking incoming cargo for Alistair Warehouses.
- Develop and maintain a four-week rolling plan for truck loading, ensuring optimal configurations and coordination with client liaison.
- Manage load management and tracking through the Fleet Load Matching Plan (FLMP) tool, ensuring timely updates.
- Daily updates and management of fleet status fields such as estimated arrival dates.
- Collaborate closely with Planning, Commercial, Trading, and SCT teams to ensure smooth operations and remove blockers.
- Bachelor's degree, with proven experience in data analysis and strategic planning, ideally within logistics or supply chain management.
- Strong understanding of systems thinking and process optimization.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with experience in stakeholder management.
- Proficiency in using planning and forecasting tools, with a strong focus on data-driven decision making.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively in a dynamic environment.
